Coastal Bend Foundation Repair started in 1998 as a family business. For five years previously, I had worked for another foundation company out of Houston and decided to open my own foundation business in the Victoria area. At the onset, we had subcontractors performing our foundation work. We worked this way for approximately two years. We then were able to hire our own crew, seeking out men who already had experience working in foundation repair and those who were willing to do the hard work it takes to be successful. Today I am proud to say we have two extremely experienced crews and two highly competent crew leaders.
Privileged to learn from a wonderful mentor, Courtland Frankson, a professional engineer, I acquired the skill to inspect a structure. But first and foremost, he impressed upon me the importance of providing honest and correct evaluations. This has become our motto – we give honest evaluations. If your house needs foundation repair, we will tell you. If your house doesn’t need foundation work, we’ll tell you that, too.
In a matter of three years after its inception, CBFR became the Victoria Area’s #1 leader in foundation repair, according to the permit office in Victoria, Texas. Today we average approximately 200 foundation repairs per year. We are still family owned and operated, maintain two crews and have held to the the principle of honest evaluations. In an attempt to give back to our community, we offer competitive prices and have instituted discounts to help Senior Citizens, active and retired military personnel and first responders. We believe it is necessary to help the people who have helped us.
